On October 8, 2020, the Department of Management hosted a practice-oriented event, a lecture on \u201cThe state of implementation of the Law of Ukraine \u201cOn Strategic Environmental Assessment\u201d in Sumy region and problematic issues of integration of environmental requirements during the development and approval of state planning documents\u201d and \u201cCurrent state and state policy in the field of waste management\u201d. The lecture was given by Iryna Volodymyrivna Kashpur, Acting Director of the Department of Environmental Protection and Energy of the Sumy Regional State Administration. The event was held for students of the 4th year of the specialty \u201cPublic Management and Administration\u201d of the educational program \u201cPublic Management and Administration\u201d within the discipline \u201cStrategic Management in the Public Sphere\u201d (teacher Bondar T.V<\/a>.); students of the 1st year in the specialty \u201cPublic Management and Administration\u201d of the educational program \u201cAdministrative Management\u201d within the discipline \u201cState Control\u201d (teacher Demikhov O.I.<\/a>); students of the 2nd year in the specialty \u201cPublic Health\u201d of the educational program \u201cPublic Health\u201d within the discipline \u201cStrategic Management in Health Care\u201d (teacher Demikhov O.I.).<\/p>\n

During the event within the topics of the disciplines mentioned above, respectively: \u201cStrategic planning at different levels of public management\u201d, \u201cEnvironmental control at the regional level\u201d, \u201cEnvironmental control as a factor in maintaining public health,\u201d the topical and critical issues of strategic environmental assessment in Sumy region as well as the state and prospects of waste management in the area have been discussed.<\/p>\n
