On December 15 and 29, 2023, Anastasiya Nesheva, a teacher at the Department of Management, held practice-oriented events for foreign students. The events were devoted to the topics of business process management at enterprises and data analysis systems.
\nMaster’s degree students majoring in “Business Administration” took part in the event. They had the opportunity to get acquainted with modern digital technologies used in management and their application in business.
\nThe event was held in the format of a master class. The lecturer was Yana Pashchenko, a representative of the Australian company Programmed, which has experience in using digital technologies in its activities.<\/p>\n

Yana Pashchenko is a business analyst who specializes in improving business processes and analytics. Knowing SQL, Python, DAX, Yana collects and processes data, visualizes, analyzes and implements the necessary BI solutions. She currently works as a business analyst at Programmed, one of Australia’s largest facility management companies. In addition, Yana runs a Youtube channel on business analytics (YanAnalyst<\/a>), where she shares interesting information and life hacks on the use of various data analysis systems.
\nYana is also a former student of Sumy State University, and now she is enriching her experience by obtaining a PhD in Business Administration from the University of International Business and Economics, Beijing, China. Yana plans to develop a comprehensive course for beginner business analysts and an integrated BI data management solution for small and medium-sized businesses.
\nDuring the master class, students learned about such digital technologies as:
\n\u2022 Business process management systems (ERP)
\n\u2022 Data analysis systems (BI)
\n\u2022 Artificial intelligence (AI)
\n\u2022 Big data (Big Data)
\nStudents also had the opportunity to get acquainted with examples of the use of digital technologies in various areas of business.
\nThe participants of the event noted that it was very useful and relevant for them. They received knowledge and skills that they will need in their professional activities.
\nThe Department of Management plans to continue conducting such practice-oriented events for students. It helps students gain practical knowledge and skills that they will need in the future.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
