From April 19-25, 2024, the second set of information and training events took place in Istanbul, Turkey, as part of the Erasmus+ KA2 project “Empowering Youth Workers Against Radicalization,” funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ program 2021-2027 (2022-1-TR01-KA220-YOU-000090238). This time, it focused on developing materials for a portal for youth workers regarding countering radicalization.<\/p>\n

Participants included the following Sumy State University representatives: from the Oleh Balatsky Department of Management – Associate Professor, Deputy Head of International Affairs Department Tetyana Mayboroda, from the Department of International Economic Relations – Professor and Head of the Department Yuriy Petrushenko, Associate Professor Oksana Zamora, senior lecturer Tetiana Shcherbyna, and the Head of the Department for Student Affairs in Dormitories (VRSMD) Ievgeniia Kryvosheienko.<\/p>\n

The event featured a series of interactive activities, discussions, and group work on the theme of radicalization, its influencing factors, and de-radicalization methods. Additionally, organizers created excellent conditions for networking and stimulated discussion of new project ideas.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
