From March 18 to 21, 2025, the Head of the Department, Doctor of Economics, Professor Ihor Rekunenko, <\/strong>and Assistant Professor Anastasiia Niesheva <\/strong>visited J\u00f6nk\u00f6ping (Sweden), in particular, the J\u00f6nk\u00f6ping International Business School <\/strong>at J\u00f6nk\u00f6ping University. They participated in an organizational meeting dedicated to the implementation of the international project “Good Governance and Accountability in Public Administration.”<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The project “Good Governance and Accountability in Public Administration”<\/em> is funded by the Swedish Institute (SI) <\/strong>and is part of a large-scale new initiative aimed at introducing Swedish experience and principles of good governance in communities of Sumy region.<\/p>\n

During their stay at J\u00f6nk\u00f6ping International Business School, Ihor Rekunenko and Anastasiia Niesheva, together with representatives of the project partners \u2014 Moldova State University (Moldova) and the NGO “Interregional Institute for Community Development” (Ukraine) \u2014 were involved in developing a training program for representatives of territorial communities in the Sumy region, as well as planning study visits to Sweden and Moldova within the project framework.<\/p>\n

The project is expected to contribute to the professional development of community representatives, strengthen international cooperation, and improve local-level governance practices.<\/p>\n
