Nearly 60% of the participants were female, reflecting a growing interest among women in energy-related topics and European studies.<\/p>\n<p>During the sessions, the following three courses were introduced:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cEuropean integration and cooperation in energetics\u201d \u2013 participants explored the relevance of the EU\u2019s energy transition and the importance of understanding European energy policy for future professionals.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cEU Project Management\u201d \u2013 this course attracted the greatest interest, engaging 39 active participants in a lively discussion about opportunities for accessing European funding and the specifics of project management according to EU standards.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cEU Smart Energy: Information technologies dimension\u201d \u2013 students learned about the role of IT in the development of smart energy grids and the importance of digital competencies for the energy sector.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each presentation was accompanied by active discussions on Ukraine\u2019s European integration prospects in the energy sector and career development opportunities for youth in this field.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>During the week of May 9\u201313, the team of the Jean Monnet Module \u201cSmart energy cooperation in Europe: educational project for youth leaders\u201d (EU4SmartED) held a series of meetings with students of Sumy State University to present three newly developed academic courses.
