On Thursday, September 25th, Tetyana Mayboroda<\/strong>, Associate Professor at Sumy State University and COIL Ambassador of SUNY for 2025-2026, delivered a guest lecture on the topic \u201cCultural Intelligence: a core competence for global citizenship\u201d<\/strong> as part of a Global Virtual Class \u201cInternational Business and Global Leadership\u201d led by Professor Dipra Jha, Scholarly Associate Professor & Fulbright specialist, Carson College of Business, Washington<\/strong> State University, USA.<\/p>\n

This COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning)<\/strong> class brings together students from across the globe \u2014 including the U.S., Georgia, Kosovo, Mauritius, and several universities in Ukraine<\/strong> and is part of a long-standing international partnership which has been launched in 2020.<\/p>\n

Tetyana\u2019s session drew on real-life case examples from her own experience<\/strong> and introduced <\/strong>practical tools and strategies students can use to improve their intercultural skills, build empathy, and act as effective global citizens<\/strong>.<\/strong> Participants engaged in interactive reflections and discussions on how to turn diversity into a shared strength<\/strong> in today\u2019s interconnected world.<\/p>\n
