{"id":62266,"date":"2026-10-26T13:17:26","date_gmt":"2026-10-26T11:17:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/management.biem.sumdu.edu.ua\/?p=62266"},"modified":"2026-10-31T13:29:13","modified_gmt":"2026-10-31T11:29:13","slug":"sumdu-joins-international-cooperation-to-promote-good-governance-and-accountability-in-public-administration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/management.biem.sumdu.edu.ua\/en\/sumdu-joins-international-cooperation-to-promote-good-governance-and-accountability-in-public-administration","title":{"rendered":"SumDU Joins International Cooperation to Promote Good Governance and Accountability in Public Administration"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On 18\u201320 October 2026, a working meeting was held in J\u016brmala and Riga, Latvia, within the framework of the international project <em>Good Governance and Accountability in Public Administration (GAAP)<\/em>, implemented with the support of the Swedish Institute (SI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sumy State University (SumDU) was represented at the meeting by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Ihor Rekunenko<\/strong> \u2013 Doctor of Economics, Professor, Head of the Department;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Yuliia Matvieieva<\/strong> \u2013 PhD in Economics, Associate Professor;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Anastasiia Niesheva<\/strong> \u2013 Assistant Lecturer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project is coordinated by J\u00f6nk\u00f6ping International Business School, J\u00f6nk\u00f6ping University (Sweden), and aims to develop professional competencies in public administration, good governance, and accountability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The working meeting programme included an assessment of the outcomes of previous training activities, an exchange of experience among representatives of Ukraine, Moldova, and Sweden, the identification of effective educational approaches, and the development of proposals for further international cooperation. One of the key areas of work was the joint development of a concept for an Executive Programme training module tailored to the needs of Ukraine and Moldova. An important part of the visit was a meeting with the management of the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga (SSE Riga).
