We’ve officially kicked off!
On September 5, 2024, we held the first session of our COIL Virtual Exchange in collaboration with Washington State University at the Ideas Lab! Under the coordination of Associate Professor Tetyana Mayboroda from the Department of Management named after O. Balatsky and Professor Dipra Jha, Honorary Doctor of Sumy State University, we have embarked on an exciting educational journey with many more engaging lectures and discussions ahead!
The training of candidates of the DSmz-31 group (specialty 281 "Public Management and Administration" under the educational and professional program "Public Service") is ongoing. Yes, on Monday, September 9, 2024. within the framework of the discipline "Research and analysis in the public sphere", the applicants got acquainted not only with the theoretical foundations of conducting scientific research, but also studied the peculiarities of information collection and its analysis in the public sphere. These are the features and practical experience shared by Iryna Viktorivna Lego - the head of the tax department of individuals of the main department of the DPS in the Sumy region. In particular, within the framework of the topic "Processing and registration of research results", a number of issues regarding the formation of databases, their analysis, determination of trends in the field of tax payment, etc. were considered. Many interesting and practically justified questions were considered within the framework of the topic. The lecture was held online during the absence of an air alert at 11:40 a.m.

Starting in September 2024, the Virtual Global Class will kick off at the IDEA Lab – an innovative space for international exchange of ideas and knowledge, established in collaboration with University of St. Gallen (Switzerland) and with support from the Swiss National Science Foundation.
Continuing our tradition of implementing COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) modules, we are organizing exciting global sessions. Beginning September 5, 2024, the virtual global class on “International Relations and Global Leadership” will be led by Associate Professor, Deputy Head for International Affairs Dr. Tetyana Mayboroda and Professor Dipra Jha from Washington State University, who is also an honorary doctor of Sumy State University.
