
On October 18-20, 2021, a Microsoft Student Summit was held, which was attended by Svitlana Kolosok together with students of the УП.м-11 group as part of practice-oriented classes on the courses "Project Management" and "Information Systems in Project Management" under the educational program "Project Management."
On each day of the summit, Microsoft practitioners shared their experience with tech tools and provided career and employment advice. Also, at the student summit, it was possible to consolidate skills, obtain materials for certification on Microsoft security, compliance, and identity, and prepare to ace the Azure Data and Power Platform exams.

On October 18, third-year students majoring in Management as part of the study of the discipline "Investment Management" (group ЕН-93) on "Research and Investment Planning" (teacher - Iuliia Myroshnychenko) attended a webinar on the series "Laws of Effective Business". The event's speaker is Kyrylo Kunitsky, the founder of the international educational and consulting company Business Designer. The webinar discussed the practical aspects of building effective financial management in the company. In particular, the speaker explained how to balance revenue generation and maintenance of the operating process, build a management system for the company, and scale it with investment. The event organiser paid special attention to the analysis of modern business tools to establish the main functions of management and control its effectiveness. The competencies gained at the online event will help students to effectively manage their business and organize profitable investment activities in the future.
On October 12, Mishenina Halyna, a lecturer at the Oleg Balatsky Department of Management, attended a webinar entitled “Strategic Approach to Public Procurement and Their Social Aspects” with fourth-year students majoring in Public Management and Administration within the discipline “Monitoring and Evaluation of Management Activity”.
The online event was organized by the Ukrainian Social Academy as part of a series of webinars "Development of Sustainable Partnership". The main task of the webinar was to find out the answer to the question: How and why can the state make public procurement socially responsible?
Regita Zejla, Director of the Latvian Social Entrepreneurship Association, spoke about the need and features of socially responsible public procurement and demonstrated examples of European experience in implementing social responsibility in public procurement. She also shared her professional experience in the field of social influence and its formation at the regional, national and international levels. Project Coordinator of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Ukraine and graduate of the specialty “Management” Elena Davlikanova and the director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Business, Economics and Management of Sume State University Tetyana Vasylieva presented the results of the study of the structure of the labor market in the field of agriculture at the round table “Ukraine 4.0. Foresight study of socio-economic changes in the labor market and forecasting of professional qualifications with digital skills». The round table took place on October 7 in the Congress Center of Sumy State University.
Issues of agricultural development of the economy, including digitalization, aspects of Industry 4.0 and workplace automation, changes in the needs of employers in qualified personnel and labor market forecasting in Ukraine were discussed during the round table. Representatives of the authorities, agricultural enterprises of Sumy region, public organizations, postgraduate students, scientists took part in the round table.
