On March 9, an online discussion "Creating and maintaining the resilience of leaders in a crisis" was held, which was attended by graduate students of the Department of Management and course teacher Galina Mishenina within the discipline "Organizational Development Management". The webinar was organized by Academy DTEK together with INSEAD - a global business school recognized № 1 in the world.
At the online meeting, Speakers Declan Fitzsimons (Professor of Organizational Behavior INSEAD) and Valeria Zabolotna (Rector of Academy DTEK) talked about the resilience of leaders in today's world, discussed the nature of organizational resilience during the crisis and changes in the role of the leader. This Wednesday 10th of March, the regular meetings within Virtual Program "Excellence in Teaching & Research" went on with the amazing seminar delivered by Dr. Kristen Malek.
Dr. Kristin Malek, or Doctor Key as she is known among her students, is Assistant Professor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is an expert in online learning and engaging strategies in learning. This seminar “Learning Engagement Strategies” brought many insights and ideas to the lives of Ph.D. students and educators. The enthusiasm of the lecturer became a source of motivation for the attendees, encouraged them to proceed with the search for the best practices in teaching, especially in the era of online learning!

On March 3, 2020, a training on international academic mobility was held for first-year students majoring in Management and Public Administration. Invited speaker - Deputy Head of the Department for International Affairs, a PhD student of the Department of Management named after Oleg Balatsky, project manager of the NGO "Center for Adult Education" in Sumy city - Kotenko Stanislav Igorovich.
He spoke about current international academic mobility programs, international summer schools and workshops for students. The meeting was held in a dialogue mode. Participants received a lot of helpful information about the specifics of applying for a grant, writing a cover letter and CV, as well as the use of international mobility in the learning process.
