On April 12, Ekaterine Lomia visited the fourth-year students of the specialty Public Management and Administration as part of the study of the discipline Management of European Integration Processes (teacher – Iuliia Myroshnychenko). Ms. Ekaterine is a researcher, a PhD Candidate in Political Science, visiting lecture at the Faculty of law and social sciences at European University (Tbilisi, Georgia). The sphere of scientific interests of the speaker is the research of foreign economic and European integration processes. The topic of the meeting was "Management of European Integration Processes (a case study of Georgia)". The event was conducted in English with consecutive translation into Ukrainian from the teacher of the course.
Ms Lomia has discussed Georgia’s success towards the EU and NATO aspiration as well as the challenges and difficulties towards the country’s EU integration. Ekaterine Lomia has provided the retrospective analysis of EU-Georgia relations since Georgia’s independence and the current situation in the country's occupied regions. In addition, the features and problems of public administration in Georgia were discussed during the practice-oriented event.

On April 8, 2021, the final presentation within the framework of the Global Virtual Class "International Business and Leadership" took place. Pavlo Kostetskyi, a former Ukrainian Foreign Service official, who served in diplomatic missions of Ukraine in Mexico, Nigeria and Angola (2009-2017), delivered a presentation on the topic “Diplomacy and Business”.
Students of speciality “Managements” learned many interesting facts about the work of diplomats, about the peculiarities of this profession, as well as how diplomacy and business are related in practice. Particular attention was paid to Africa, as one of the important areas of business development and trade for Ukraine. Many interesting cases, stories of the subtleties of the work, its advantages and disadvantages, as well as opening opportunities for students to get a job in diplomatic missions of Ukraine abroad by applying for the vacant positions on open competitions. We are sure that in the future we will see our graduates among the employees of the embassies of Ukraine!

On April 8, 2021 Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv hosted the second stage of the All-Ukrainian Competition of Student Research Papers on “Project and Program Management”.
22 research papers were presented at the scientific and practical conference. Sectoral Competition Commission announced 11 winners (10 research papers)
The research paper on “Application of a project approach to the implementation of energy-efficient technologies” authored by Natalia Petrenko (second-year student in a Master’s program in Management) was awarded a diploma of the second degree (scientific supervisor – Alona Yevdokymova, Ph.D in Technical Science).

EN-93 / 2pu specialty "Public Administration" together with the teacher Kobushko Ia.V. studied the intricacies of building an organizational structure in a master class by a certified consultant Adizes Institute (USA) Borys Shevelov. Budget structure for managing the new structure, "color" management structure, principles of grouping functions, matrix of responsibility, centralize or decentralize the organization, communication between departments. This type of student activities took place within the discipline "Organization of administrative activities." The organizer of a series of master classes on organizational design is the OTA Group Organizational Delegation Studio.
