Self-management and time management are one of the main management skills. Applying distance education technologies allows to attract practitioners from all over Ukraine. On April 15, 2020 Yuliya Zrada, a blogger from the Lviv city, founder of the online school of comprehensive developed personality through English YOULEARN, conducted an interesting training for students of the first- and second-year of education (speciality “Management", English-speaking groups). Yuliya Zrada provided valuable guidance to students on how to plan their time, how to learn and avoid stress and fatigue. The positive atmosphere, insights and learning games with Kahoot, life hacks from sophomores to freshmen – all in one event.

The Head of the Grant Sector of the Department of Strategic Development of the Sumy City Council, Yuliia Tereshchenko, an alumnus of the Department of Management in the specialty "Project Management", held a number of practice-oriented activities for students of SSU.
On April 13, 2020, Yuliia Tereshchenko was invited to conduct a course on "Leadership and Team Management" (lecturer Alona Yevdokymova). She shared her experience in working in teams for the implementation of educational and cultural projects, and spoke about the features of teamwork in grant projects involving foreign investment and effective tools for motivating team members.
On April 14, 2020, for students of the specialty “Project Management”, the alumnus of which was Yuliya Tereshchenko herself, a practical lesson was held on the discipline “Implementation of Project” (lecturer Iuliia Myroshnychenko). In the example of real projects, Yuliia spoke about the features of risk management and the monitoring of projects.
On April 13, 2020, an interesting webinar was held for the students-bachelors of the PA-71 group of the specialty "Public Management and Administration".
Maxim Petrovich, Chairman of the Expert Council of Employers in the specialty "Public Management and Administration", Deputy Head of the Interregional Directorate of the National Agency of Ukraine for Civil Service in Kharkiv and Sumy region, spoke to the students with a presentation and meaningful comments.
Practically oriented event was organized by the lecturer of the Department of Management, Ph.D. from the state government Demikhov O.I.
The presentation was related to the topic "Civil Service Reform in Ukraine" of the work program of the discipline "Civil Service". In particular, issues of digitization of civil service bodies, features of HR-work, conducting of competitive examination and evaluation of official activity of officials were revealed.
On 16th 2020 the second session of the Virtual Class in Strategic Management & Leadership will take place. This time the guest lecturer will be Dr Iryna Heiets, Senior Lecturer in Aviation, School of Engineering, Aerospace Engineering and Aviation team (RMIT University, Melbourne) who kindly agreed to share her expertise in the strategy development for aviation. Dr Iryna Heiets is in a field of coopetition strategy since 2014, she is a member of CENA community, had numerous academic training programmes, including the one at University of Montpellier (France). This Fall she was an organizer of webinar "Coopetition for Aviation" in Melbourne.
