Senior Lecturer of the Department of Management, Ph.D. Opanasiuk Yuliia onducted a series of training on "Self-Management" at the Warsaw Higher School of Ecology and Management during May 22-27, 2022.

Ms. Yuliia was invited to an internship under the cooperation agreement between Sumy State University and the Warsaw Higher School of Ecology and Management under the Erasmus + program. According to the academic mobility agreement, the teacher conducted a training in Self-Management for students of speciality "Design" and "Architecture".

The training was devoted to goal setting and methods of achieving them. The study aroused great interest among students and teachers.

Participation in this program gives teachers the opportunity to increase professional competencies; to improve speaking skills, in particular, professional communication in English; to establish cooperation between faculties, teachers and students.

On May 23, 2022, a practice-oriented event was held at the Department of Management - a meeting with our employers - representatives of the international audit company "Deloitte". The meeting was organized by O. Demikhov, PhD in Public Administration, Senior Lecturer of the Department. The students were interested to hear information about the relevance of involving a variety of specialists in the audit company, including professionals in cybersecurity, consulting, HR, management, fundraising, education, linguistics and law. We thank our stakeholders for an interesting presentation of their activities! We hope for further productive cooperation!

 

The Oleg Balatskyi Department of Management continues to expand the range of research in the field of management and public administration. Thus, on May 25, 2022, a scientific seminar was held, during which the scientists of the department discussed the priority scientific areas and and identified the topics of future researches. Also during the scientific discussion the format and thematic sections of the International Scientific Conference were determined.

We wish our scientists significant success and scientific achievements!

On the 21 of May, Sumy State University and the whole country celebrate the Day of Science. Oleg Balatskyi Department of Management sincerely congratulates dear scientific and pedagogical workers, graduate students, and students on this important holiday!

Science is the main driving force for the country's sustainable economic development. Thus, scientists of the Oleg Balatskyi Department of Management are creating a solid scientific base for the development of the Sumy region and Ukraine.

Talented researchers and students of our department perform basic research, develop innovative concepts and methods, find ways to solve scientific problems and promote the integration of solutions in many areas of the national economy.

Due to their high professionalism, the scientists of the Department make a significant contribution to the development of the economic and managerial industry. Their research contributes to improving management at various levels, increasing the productivity of enterprises, environmental protection, attracting foreign investments, and, in a global sense, improving the quality of life of Ukrainians.

Researchers of our Department actively publish articles in Ukrainian and foreign scientific journals, allowing us to share our experience at the country's level and in the international scientific community.
