On September 22, 2022, at 10:05 a.m., as part of a practical session on the "Production Organization" course, a meeting was held with Vadim Viktorovych Kharchenko, a 2011 graduate of the Department of Management named after O.F. Balatskyi.
They talked about the experience of working in different organizations, the possibilities and prospects of coordination in space and time of different directions of work and production, process management. Ways of developing the qualities of a manager, his competence and professionalism.
The meeting was organized by Dr. Rybalchenko Svitlana Mykolayivna. Students of other specialties within the disciplines "Management and management psychology" and "Strategic and innovative management" joined the meeting.
Teachers of the Oleg Balatskyi Department of Management, PhD, associate Professor Opanasyuk Yu.A. and PhD, associate Professor Smolennikov D.O. participated in the Summer School of the University of Liverpool (Great Britain) for three weeks in the summer. Teachers visited the section IEEL 026 “Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Global Challenges, Local Action, Achieved Outcomes" (on-line) from June 13 to July 1, 2022. The summer school was held by the University of Liverpool as part of a sister university cooperation agreement.
The teachers gained new knowledge on sustainable development and green economy and the skills of implementing new ideas into the educational process.

On September 14, 2022, an online event dedicated to introducing first-year students to the BIEM Institute was held. The meeting was attended by more than 180 students, 30 teachers and the management staff of the BIEM Institute. The newly graduated students got acquainted with the director of the institute T.A. Vasylieva, with specialized deputies, heads of departments and curators. The director of the institute told the students about the life of the institute and informed them where they can turn for various issues. Tetyana Anatoliivna wished the students good grades, success, effort and productive learning. At the meeting, 1st-year students learned about international and scientific activities, student activities and leisure time, and learned the contact details of various administrative departments that they will need. Student director Darya Kolesnik, who was present at the meeting, told the freshmen about the peculiarities of student self-government. After the all-institute meetings, the groups held curatorial hours. Groups of our department (M-21 and PM-21) resolved all urgent issues with their curator.
