On May 15, 2021, Svitlana Kolosok, an associate professor of Oleg Balatskyi Department of Management, earned the Azure Fundamentals certification issued by Microsoft. Azure Fundamentals certification requires a foundational level knowledge of cloud data, security, services, and how those services are provided with Microsoft Azure.
The American Council on Education has evaluated Microsoft Certificate: Azure Fundamentals for two college credits on information technology (or cloud computing).
On May 5-6, the International scientific and practical conference of students and young scientists named after professor Oleg Balatsky «Economic problems of sustainable development» was held online. The conference was attended by students, graduate students, young scientists of the Oleg Balatskyi Department of Management. Urgent economic issues were discussed. Participants presented interesting results of their research in reports. The winners in the field of Management Organizations were:
1st place - Kursenko Anastasiia, 3rd year students of group M-82-an, supervisor Matvіeіeva Yu. Topic: THE BENEFITS OF DEVELOPING A VIRTUAL OFFICE IN TODAY'S WORLD, CASE STUDY ON AQUALIFE COMPANY BY KINETICO;
2nd place - Lisovska Daryna, 4th year student of group M-71, supervisor Matvіeіeva Yu. Т. Topic of the report: PREREQUISITES OF RESEARCH OF EDUCATIONAL AND MOTIVATIONAL FACTORS IN MODERN STUDENTS OF FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS;
On May 6, a panel discussion of graduate students and teachers of the department with employers in the specialty "Management" took place online.
During the meeting, postgraduate students of the department Stanislav Kotenko and Anastasia Nesheva made reports on the results of their own research before defending their dissertations. Then our employers were asked to discuss the topics and content of work, to provide advice to young scientists. Industry experts took an active part in the discussion:

- Mykhailyk Vyacheslav Mykolayovych - a private entrepreneur
- Taruta Dmytro Yuriiovych - Head of the Sales Department of the North-Eastern Region of Nova Poshta LLC
- Dashkin Vitaliy Shamilovich - Deputy Director of the Sumy Regional Directorate of JSB “UKRGASBANK”
On May 6 the practice-oriented event, a practical class on the topic: “State Audit Office of Ukraine as an effective institution of government control” was held for students of the 2nd year of the specialty “Public Management and Administration”. The class was conducted by Dmytro Borozenets, Deputy Head of the North-Eastern Office of the State Audit Office of Ukraine in the Sumy Region. The event was held for students of the 2nd academic year of the specialty “Public Management and Administration” of the educational program “Public Management and Administration” in the discipline “Program-targeted approach in public administration” (teacher Tetiana Bondar).
The event was also attended by students of the 1st and 3rd academic years in the specialty “Public Management and Administration” of the educational program “Public Management and Administration”.
