- Head of the Department of Applied Social Sciences, Faculty of Organization and Management of the Silesian University of Technology (2012 - now).
- President of the Silesian Center for Business Ethics and Sustainable Development (2014 - now);
- Treasurer of the Polish Society for Technology Evaluation (2015-2017);
- Vice President of the Polish Society for Technology Evaluation (2018 - now);
- Member of the Slovak Philosophical Society (2007 - now);
- Chairman of the Committee on Corporate Social Responsibility and Socially Responsible Communications at the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice (2018 - now);
- Project appraisal expert from the Research Grant Agency of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport and the Slovak Academy of Sciences (VEGA);
- Supervisor of graduate students of Sumy State University;
- Organizer of the annual International Interdisciplinary Scientific Conference "Social Development on the Way to Values Ethics - Technology - Society", which is attended by teachers of Sumy State University.

Research activities

Author of more than 190 scientific papers, including: 12 publications in the SCOPUS database (h-index = 4, 94 citations), 14 publications in the Web of Science database (h-index = 4, 88 citations), 7 monographs and sections of monographs, printed in EU languages (Polish).

Achievements

- Awards of the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology - individual and team awards of the third and first degree for scientific and organizational achievements (2007, 2008, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019); - Special Award & Black Diamond; Regional Chamber of Commerce Rubnik district (2018); - Silesian Scientific Prize (2017); - Medal of the National Education Commission (2015); - Award of the Minister of Education and Science of the 1st degree (2021).
