Sumy State University lecturer of Management Department Tetyana Mayboroda participated at Strategic Leadership Development, Peace and Conflict Resolution Workshop, which took place at Bingham University on 25th-27th of July.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof.W.B Qurix,OFR,while welcoming participants stated that Leadership and strategic development, peace and conflict resolution are the most important issues facing the world today.
The topic delivered to participants as an invited speaker by Mrs. Tetyana Mayboroda was devoted to change and transformational leadership as the leadership of new generation.
Such participation is a great contribution into mutual partnership relations Sumy State University has with Bingham University.

On 5 April, 2019 the Associate Professor of the Department of Management Halyna Mishenina and the students of the specialty “Public management” (I. Malionkina, O. Mayboroda, Ya. Romanchenko) took part in the Young Scientist Conference 2.0 “Economic future of Ukraine”. It was arranged by the Ukrainian Association of the Club of Rome. Prominent international and Ukrainian economists, scientists, manufacturers, entrepreneurs and People’s Deputies of Ukraine were speakers of the event. Many important issues were discussed during the conference, such as trends and challenges of 2019, the place of Ukraine on the world economic map, its economic strategy and the secrets of successful entrepreneurship. The excursion around the innovation park UNIT.City and educational IT-centre UNIT Factory became an endpoint of the day.

On March 2, the fourth graduating class of course participants under the program "Manager of a dwelling house (group of houses)" was held by the Center of professional and postgraduate education of Sumy State University, in cooperation with the Department of Management. A group of students from different regions of the state (Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy regions) received state-level certificates of completion of advanced training courses.
During 11 workdays (78 hours of classes) the participants studied the practical aspects of the work of the managers of residential houses in the field of energy management, the peculiarities of accounting, the mechanism of formation of contributions for the maintenance of houses, land and architectural issues, improvement of the adjacent areas, etc.
Courses under the program "Manager of a dwelling house (group of houses)" are held at the SSU on an ongoing basis. There are the heads and members of associations of co-owners of multi-apartment buildings, house committees, heads and chief specialists of private and communal enterprises in the residential sector.

At the end of February Daryna Lysak, a second year student of speciality “Management”, began her parallel study at University of Ecology and Management in Warsaw under the Erasmus + KA1 Academic Mobility Program.
"Having first seen my university in Warsaw, I was very impressed with its interior. It is very cozy here, there is a place where students can prepare for classes on each floor. Also, there are reading rooms equipped with new computers at the university, and everyone can use all the equipment", − remarks Daryna.
In general, there are many foreign students at University of Ecology and Management in Warsaw and there is a good opportunity to find new friends. The educational process in Poland is very similar to the educational process in Ukraine, many teachers encourage students to prepare presentations.
"There are plenty of places in Warsaw where you can spend time exciting, a lot of museums, parks and green areas. In addition, the university arranges trips to other cities in Poland, it is very convenient for students. In general, this is an incredible experience that I want everyone to receive", − summed Daryna.
