On 23 November 2018 People’s Deputy Yurii Derevianchenko organized the public lecture on “Info-state. Information technologies as the mechanisms for implementing social policy” for the students of Oleg Balatskyi Academic and Research Institute of Finance, Economics and Management. It was held within the framework of the providing practical approach to the course “Legal enforcement of public administration” and other ones. The lecture considered issues regarding E-democracy in Ukraine and its development prospects in the context of the declared membership of Ukraine in the EU and NATO.

Аssistant of the Department of Management Demikhov Oleksii was trained as part of the Orienteering Course of the Common Security and Defense Policy of the EU during October 22-26, 2018. Training events were conducted by experts from the European Defense College (Belgium) at the Ivan Chernyakhovsky National University of Defense (Kiev). The course was consisted of lectures and trainings on European security strategies, structures and procedures of the common security and defense policy, capacity development, as well as on missions and operations of the European Union. As a result of training participants received certificates.
During the autumn and spring semester, the associate professor of the Department of Management Myroshnychenko Iuliia Oleksandrivna will take part in the academic mobility program at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (Vienna, Austria). The opportunity to get an overseas teacher’s experience arose as a result of obtaining a scholarship from the Austrian Agency for International Mobility and Cooperation in Education, Science and Research (OeAD) within the Ernst Mach program (worldwide). The main tasks of the internship are conducting scientific research, obtaining new knowledge, exchanging experience, comparing approaches to teaching in Ukrainian and Austrian higher education institutions. The lecturer of the Department of Management actively participates in scientific seminars and workshops, attends lectures and practical classes in the field of economics, conducts scientific research by using library and electronic resources of the university.
From September 15 till September 22, 2018 the senior lecturer of the Department of Management Yuliia Opanasiuk took part in academic internship «Balanced economic and legal processes in society and business environment in the context of globalization”, which was held on the basis of the University of Economics - Varna, Bulgaria. The academic internship was organized by Kherson National Technical University. The academic internship included lectures by Bulgarian teachers, director of European Operation «TERRA EXPORTS INTL LLC» Mariya Dermendzhieva «Economic and legal problems and opportunities of international business» and PhD., Assoc. Prof. of Economics and Management of Commerce Department University of Economics – Varna Michal Stojanov «Consumer protection in the context of electronic commerce». As part of the internship, the conference "Ukraine-Bulgaria-European Union: Current Status and Prospects" was held.
