During November 23-24, 2018 senior lecturer of the Department of Management Denys Smolennikov participated in the VI National forum "Business and universities: developing future business."
A series of panel discussions on globalization of the market, social and women's entrepreneurship, cooperation of universities and business were held during the forum. In addition, participants took part in workshops on financial technologies, management of communities, preparing impressive presentations, SCRUM-tech in business and education, the implementation of real business cases in education programs.

During November 21-22, 2018 Senior Lecturer of the Department of Management Denys Smolennikov took part in the International Forum for Sustainable Business "Green Mind". This year the event took place during the International Forum "Innovation Market" at the International Exhibition Center (Kyiv).
During the forum several issues were devoted to the reformation of the environmental monitoring system, implementation of the Register of emissions and transfer of pollutants, and state support for green modernization of production. Participants also took an active part in trainings "Requirements for measures on environmental protection and cost of life cycle in the course of public procurement", " Guiding principles for providing information on ecofriendliness of products".

On 29 November 2018 an excursion for students of the group PA-61 (Public Administration) (graduating Department of Management) was held at the Department of Property Management of the Sumy Regional Council within the practice-oriented preparation. During the meeting with the Deputy Head of Department Oleksii Siabrenko, the peculiarities of communal property management of the community in the framework of privatization and lease were discussed. Students acquired competencies regarding the issues of the regional council structure and its subdivisions. They got acquainted with the requirements and conditions of the first-time recruitment in local self-government bodies for young graduates of higher educational establishments.
On 12 December, 2018, within practical-oriented approach to learning, lectures of the Department of Management Mishenina Galina and Opanasyuk Yulia organized a themed excursion for students of the specialty "Public Management and Administration" Oleg Balatskyi Academic and Research Institute of Finance, Economics and Management. It took in the «Administrative Services Center» in Sumy . The excursion program included the following blocks: structure and peculiarities of «Administrative Services Center», organization of public services for individuals and legal entities, staff-management in office, information and financial support. Students were acquainted with the activities of the Center, facilities and equipment, front- and back-office. Administrators have answered the students' questions. During the visit students had the opportunity to talk with the Head of the Center Strizhova Alla Viktorovna. The legislative initiatives of the government, their compliance with the current legislation and the plans of the «Administrative Services Center» for the future were discussed during the conversation.
