Project Coordinator of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Ukraine and graduate of the specialty “Management” Elena Davlikanova and the director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Business, Economics and Management of Sume State University Tetyana Vasylieva presented the results of the study of the structure of the labor market in the field of agriculture at the round table “Ukraine 4.0. Foresight study of socio-economic changes in the labor market and forecasting of professional qualifications with digital skills». The round table took place on October 7 in the Congress Center of Sumy State University.
Issues of agricultural development of the economy, including digitalization, aspects of Industry 4.0 and workplace automation, changes in the needs of employers in qualified personnel and labor market forecasting in Ukraine were discussed during the round table. Representatives of the authorities, agricultural enterprises of Sumy region, public organizations, postgraduate students, scientists took part in the round table.

Teachers of our department Yuliia Opanasiuk and Tetyana Mayboroda took part in the First Evening Festival of Non-Formal Education "The Art of Learning Together" as trainers. The festival took place as part of the German Weeks in Ukraine on the occasion of 30 years of German-Ukrainian relations.
The festival consisted of 36 exciting trainings from the best coaches from all over Ukraine. And our teachers have something to share! Tetyana Mayboroda conducted the training "Intercultural Communications and Leadership", and Julia Opanasyuk - "How to shoot on a smartphone beautifully."
Participants were active, interested and gave valuable feedback.

During September 16 - October 2, 2021, teachers of Sumy State University (Ph.D. in State Administration, Senior Lecturer Oleg Balatskyi Department of Management Oleksii Demikhov and MD, Prof. of the Department of Family Medicine Nadiia Demikhova) visited Tallinn University of Technology in the framework of the ERASMUS + KA107 program to teach the course "European experience in the formation and implementation of public policy in public health." In particular, during the implementation of the university-wide grant, the teachers conducted an internship at the College of Tartu, which is a branch of Tallinn University of Technology. SumDU teachers took part in trainings and gave lectures on relevant topics.

A new COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) module for third-year students majoring in Management begins on October 7th. The module "Conflicts, International Leadership and International Business" was developed in collaboration with Dipra Jha, Professor of Carson College of Business, Washington State University and Dr. Tetyana mayboroda, lecturer at the Oleg Balatskiy Department of Management. For students of our university, this module is part of the course "Conflict and Organizational Change Management ", during which they will develop and present their own project on the analysis of international conflicts, will be able to better understand the impact of globalization, social sciences and other disciplines and connect them to relevant characteristics, issues and problems faced by the world economy and society. At the end of the course students will also have peer to peer activities with students of Washington University on the materials of this COIL module.
