2nd and 4th year students of the specialty "Public Management and Administration" discussed with the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine Popatenko Marina Mykolayivna the new Youth Policy Strategy, youth centers, their functions and tasks, youth policy tools and more

Students learned more about competitions and projects for young people,   in particular about the competition   "State founder" and the program "Youth Capital Ukraine" about the Youth Pact 2020, about how young people can get involved in community life.

The webinar was organized by Yulia Opanasyuk, Senior Lecturer of Oleg Balatskyі Department of Management as part of the course "Administrative and Territorial Management" for 2nd year students specialty "Public Management and Administration" on the topic: " Youth policy in administrative municipalities".

11.11.20р. Roman Trepalin, Head of the Competitive Bidding Department of the Sumy City Council, was invited to our classes.

During the online lecture, bachelors of the 3rd year of full-time and part-time forms of education in the specialty "Public Administration" (PU-81, Puz-81, discipline "Public Procurement Management"), masters of the group "Administrative Management" (1st year, AM .m-01, discipline "State Control") talked to a specialist of Sumy City Council.

Roman Trepalin in an interesting way, on the examples of real cases, told students about the peculiarities of public procurement according to modern legislation, emphasized the procedures for monitoring the conduct of bidding.

Students had the opportunity to ask questions to our expert. There was a great discussion.

Our colleagues, Denys Smolennikov and Hanna Shvindina took part in Annual Conference of EENCE devoted to the networking between members, summing up and presentation of the results of the events in 2020, experience sharing and discussion of the outcomes of the activities of the EENCE, events planning for 2021. The conference took place online via ZOOM for several days, from 31.10 till 14.11.2020. We’d like to remind you that EENCE is a network of organizations and experts aiming at promoting exchange and development of knowledge, skills and values on citizenship education in the region of Eastern Europe.

Sumy State University was selected to participate in the EducationUSA program "Internationalization Leadership Academy" together with 20 other Ukrainian participants-universities. The aim of the project is to bring together Ukrainian and American university lecturers, as well as their students, through virtual learning technologies. Tetyana Mayboroda, the lecturer at the Oleh Balatskyi Department of Management (ARI FEM, SumDU) has submitted the application and was successfully selected among other participants of Ukrainian universities.
