This is the motto of the All-Ukrainian Association of United Territorial Communities (OTG), which has been working for 4 years - defending and lobbying the interests of OTG at the regional and local levels throughout Ukraine.
On November 26, the OTG Association organized a Forum of New Local Self-Government. As part of a practice-oriented approach to the training of future civil servants, teachers and students of the second and fourth courses of the specialty "Public Administration" joined a large-scale online event. The participants of the event were the heads of more than a thousand territorial communities, deputies of Ukraine, officials of central government bodies, representatives of international organizations, experts, media representatives.
The Forum focused on local government reform and decentralization: problems, prospects, next steps.
The experience of Sweden and Poland, which was shared by the participants of the forum - European experts in local self-government, became interesting for students.

A regular event was held for postgraduate students of the Department of Management in the specialty 073 "Management"! Understood what is strategic management. So, you have developed a strategy, and you are already beginning to implement it. You've done great targeting, identified strengths and weaknesses, identified critical success factors, and garnered investor support. What could go wrong? And anything can go wrong. Mr. Volodymyr Lobodin, the director of the Manufactory shopping mall, told about this and about the history of its formation. Honestly about strategic development, about investments, about the payback period, about how to correctly define life goals and get out of unexpected life situations. The seminar turned into a question-and-answer conversation. We thank the graduate students for their active participation in the event, as well as students of groups majoring in "Management", "Finance, Banking and Insurance", "Entrepreneurship, Trade and Exchange". The meeting was held as part of the course "Strategic Management", moderated by Anna Shvindina, Doctor of Economics, Head of the Department of Management Oleg Balatsky.

On November 18 and 19, 2020, interesting practice-oriented online events with the invitation of a psychologist were held for first-year students majoring in Management and Public Administration. Invited practitioner - Candidate of Psychological Sciences, practicing psychologist and specialist in symbol drama, Kolisnyk Lyudmyla Oleksiivna. The primary purpose of the event is to acquaint students with methods of prevention and control of socio-psychological stress that may occur during intensive training or may be present in their future profession. Lyudmyla Oleksiivna told about the organization of psychological assistance at SSU and methods of self-regulation in stressful situations. Also, the psychologist acquainted students with the practical techniques of maintaining psychological health in a pandemic.

Every year our students receive the award "The best student of SSU". This year is no exception! Polina Kucherenko, a first-year master's student of specialty "Management", won the nomination "Best Student - Scientist".
And it's no accident! Because Polina has won many competitions in scientific works, has articles in professional journals and participates in scientific conferences.
She is a winner of the second stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in the discipline "Business Economics" in 2019, All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the specialty "Economics of Nature Management and Environmental Protection" (2nd place, 2020), All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the field of "Management in the field of economic competition" (3rd place, 2020). In 2018-2019 she received a scholarship from the head of the regional state administration, which is awarded to the best students of the region.
We should mention that Polina Kucherenko is Alumna of the department of Economics and Entrepreneurship and Business Administration. Her talents were unleashed and developed thanks to our colleagues.
And let’s remember that to become the best student one should study for self-development, with no stops in the middle.
