The online lecture was attended on October 26 by Ekaterina Barysheva - Deputy Head of the Regional Branch State Property Fund of Ukraine in Kyiv, ex-adviser to the Deputy General Director of the State Concern Ukroboronprom.
Ms. Kateryna presented to the participants of the webinar the basics of the state property privatization process in Ukraine. She explained the peculiarities of conducting auctions, participation of stakeholders in the privatization process and lease of state property. In particular, the privatization of the Dnipro Hotel (Kyiv) aroused keen interest among students.
We also had the pleasure to talk with our guest about the topic of transformational changes in the field of public administration. Questions of corporate culture and strategy in the field of public authorities were discussed as well. Participants were especially interested in current trends in civil service and prospects for the realization of their career opportunities.
The meeting ended with a mutual exchange of best wishes for future achievements. We would like to express our gratitude to Ms. Kateryna for the inspirational advice to our young people and the time she spent communicating with future civil servants.
How to motivate team members, how to “ignite” the team for the result, and how to determine the participants' strengths during teamwork - all this was learned by students from gr. UP.m-01 AM.m-01 at the training "Team engagement and how to manage it", conducted by Oksana Voronina - business coach and organizational development coach, founder of "LeadMe" - the first online school for young leaders focused on the generation Y. On 31.10 and 01.11, the trainer acquainted the training participants with the theory and tools, methods for assessing the research team's involvement of the analytical company Gallup. The training participants received practical recommendations for team managers to develop a plan to increase all team members' participation. Students had the opportunity to work on cases in small groups, and the leaders of various companies present at the training, which contributed to obtaining professional advice on the training topic.
Students of groups AM.м-01 (1st year Master's degree, speciality "Administration") and ПУ-71 (4th year Bachelor's degree, speciality "Public Administration") attended an online lecture by a tax collector and auditor on October 20.
Thus, from the beginning, Yuvchenko Natalia Volodymyrivna, Chief State Auditor-Inspector of the Department of Pre-trial Dispute Resolution and Legal Support of the Legal Affairs Department of the Main Department of the State Tax Service in Sumy Region, addressed the students. A representative of the tax service explained SSU students about the features and legal framework for conducting various types of inspections.
Then the youth was addressed by Kletsova Anna Mykhailivna, forensic expert of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, independent certified auditor, director of the audit firm "ZEUS", Sumy. The auditor revealed to the students the "secrets" of the company's preparation for the tax collectors’ audit and various aspects of the legal interaction between business structures and regulatory authorities.
October 27 held an online meeting with first-year students of the Department of Management on international mobility and opportunities to study abroad.
The meeting was organized by Tetyana Pimonenko, Deputy Director for International Affairs, and Stanislav Kotenko, Deputy Head of the Department for International Affairs. Senior students, who are actively involved in international mobility programs were also invited to the meeting. Such students were Olga Maiboroda, who took part in the Erasmus + program in 2018 and studied in Almeria, Spain, for one semester, and Inna Malonkina, a 4th year student of the Department of Management, who is currently studying in Riga, Latvia, under the Scholarship Program of the Republic of Latvia. Participants of the mobility were happy to share their impressions of studying in other countries, gave good advice to future managers in the field of paperwork and their submission to mobility programs.
