The European Parliament is the heart of democracy and political debate in the EU. Elected directly by the voters, its members determine the future of the Union and make strategic decisions together with the Council.
This visit gave the teacher a broad overview of not only the process of legislative adoption and the EU budget, but also the role of the Parliament in the world.
