Tetyana Mayboroda, Associate Professor of the Department of Management and Deputy Head of the Department of International Cooperation of Sumy State University, is among the participants in the project " Management of Internationalisation and German-Ukrainian Academic Cooperation" (MoI) developed by Leibniz University Hannover with the support of the DAAD Programme for 2024: "Supporting for the Internationalisation of Ukrainian Higher Education Institutions – Continuing Education Programmes for Administrators at Ukrainian Higher Education Institutions in Education and Academic Management" to meet the needs of German-Ukrainian academic cooperation.
On 22 January 2024, 15 representatives of Ukrainian higher education institutions, who had been selected to participate in the project, took part in kick-off meeting with hosts of the MoI project of Leibniz University of Hannover. The aim of the project is to provide participants with in-depth knowledge of various aspects of internationalisation and to teach them how to manage relevant processes and tasks, as well as to promote the internationalisation of their universities. Participants will learn about the concepts and strategies of internationalisation of higher education in different countries; compare the German and Ukrainian systems and university structures. The project will last 9 months and will include a series of online and offline training modules, workshops, mentoring sessions to improve work with all aspects of academic mobility and scientific cooperation, develop and implement appropriate internationalisation strategies, as well as preparation of an individual internationalisation project, its presentation and further implementation in educational institutions activities.
