On January 23, 2025, a department lecturer, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Yulia Opanasiuk, participated in the online event "Community-Oriented Learning Pedagogy (COL) for Community Development During the War and Reconstruction." The event was organized by a consortium of universities with the active involvement of Sumy State University, which implements innovative methodologies in the educational process during the war. During the event, speakers shared the outcomes of implementing community-oriented learning in their programs, as well as reflections on overcoming challenges and achieving success in this area. Particular attention was paid to opportunities for strengthening communities in the crisis conditions of war and throughout the reconstruction process. The event became a platform for exchanging ideas, practical cases, and inspiration. The organizers expressed hope that the knowledge gained would serve as a catalyst for developing pedagogical skills and implementing new approaches in the educational process. The event was co-financed by the European Union under the ServU project.
