On April 9, 2020, within the framework of the practitioner's involvement in the educational process, a practice-oriented event on the discipline “Management of European Integration Processes” (teacher Myroshnychenko Iu.) was held. Yulia Vlasenko (Specialist of the Sector for Processing Applications and Decision Making at the Department for Social Assistance of Konotop City Council) visited the 4th year students of the specialty "Public Management and Administration". The practical training was devoted to the possibility of using European standards for social protection in national governmental practice.

Yulia Ivanovna shared a knowledge and interesting experience in working with local authorities. In addition, the students were told about the possibilities of using the experience of European countries to create effective modeling of social protection at all levels of government. Students actively participated in the discussion, asked questions about the peculiarities of work in local authorities, and the peculiarities of organizing work to provide social assistance to the citizen.
