Distance Learning empowers practitioners involved in learning. On May 7, 2020, a webinar was held with the Deputy Head of the Department of Investment and External Partnership of the Department of Finance, Economy and Investments of Sumy City Council by Gavrilova Kateryna Volodymyrivna, a master's student in the Civil Service educational program for second-year students majoring in Public Administration.

The event was held under the subject "Basic of Public Financial Management". The lecture "Attracting additional financial resources to the local budget for the implementation of investment projects" was given as part of the topic "Public Investment Management".

Students were able to get acquainted with the theoretical foundations of attracting  investition to local governments, the types of financial resources for the implementation of investment projects.

Anna Bohatyrenko shared her impressions: “It was interesting to learn the mechanism of attracting investments, how exactly projects are formed. It was also interesting to know what projects are currently operating in the Sumy."
