What is civil society, how to be active and defend your rights? Professor Yogest Kumar's lecture was devoted to these issues. Professor Yogest Kumar - former Vice Chancellor and International Assessor of Singhania University,  CEO of Air Hostess Academy Srinagar (India). Has more than 37 years of experience, he obtained the positions from the head of the department, Dean to Vice Chancellor.

He was a Team Lead at Rajasthan Cancer Foundation, has a huge experience of interactions with a lot of universities of the world, being a reviewer and project contributor, and his experience in Civic Society development is valuable and worth of sharing.

Students learned how civil society is formed, what are the types of civil society organizations, their functions, benefits and challenges of operation It was very interesting to compare the experience of civil society development in India and Ukraine.

The webinar was organized by Yulia Opanasyuk, Senior Lecturer of Oleg Balatskyі Department of Management as part of the course "Administrative and Territorial Management" for 2nd year students specialty "Public Management and Administration" on the topic: "Civil society as a subject of public administration goals."
