On December 21, Svitlana Anatoliyivna Spazheva (village head of Pokrovska OTG, Dnipropetrovsk region) and Hryhoriy Mykolayovych Starikov (expert on regional development, candidate of historical sciences) attended an online lecture for students majoring in Public Administration.

At the webinar Spazheva S. A. told students about the current state and directions of development of the Pokrovsky territorial community. They talked about the peculiarities of the new local self-government, community achievements, problems and prospects. Students and teachers present at the online event noted a bright and informative presentation, which supported the report of Svitlana Anatoliyivna.

Expert Hryhoriy Starikov also joined the online conversation. It was especially interesting and useful for the participants of the online lecture to hear the opinions of the invited guests during the discussion of the budget for 2021 on the opportunities and shortcomings, community orientation, etc.

Students actively asked the guests about the optimization of education in the community, about the tools for community development in the new year and about decentralization in Sumy and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

It was nice to hear gratitude from the head of the Pokrovsky community for the ideas offered by students (Malyonkina Inna, Kalyuzhna Yarina) together with the teacher (Mishenina Halyna) at the CASERS & DESPRO case championship last year. But the most valuable thing is that, in part, the project proposed within the framework of this event is currently almost at the stage of implementation.

The online event was attended by students majoring in "Public Administration" - groups PU-71, Am.M - 01s, EN -93/2 pu.

The organizer and moderator of the meeting is Mishenina Halyna, Associate Professor of the Department of Management named after Oleg Balatsky.
