On August 31, 2023, Senior Lecturer of the Oleg Balatskiy Department of Management, Ph.D. Opanasiuk Yu.A., took part in a webinar on the topic "Corruption and the Shadow Economy: EU Practices and Ukraine's Specifics." The event was organized by the State Trade and Economic University as part of the "EU AntiCor" project, supported by the European Union under the Jean Monnet program and Erasmus+.

The webinar featured Dr. Lyudmila Serova, who is a member of the "EU AntiCor" project and an associate professor at the Department of International Management at the State Trade and Economic University. This event brought together young researchers, graduate students, doctoral candidates, and all those interested in the issues of combating corruption and the shadow economy.

The webinar served as a significant step towards understanding the practices of the European Union in combating corruption and the shadow economy and their impact on Ukraine. Participation in such events is a stride towards improving anti-corruption measures and creating a fair economic environment in Ukraine.

We hope that the knowledge gained from this event will be implemented in the course "Anti-Corruption Activities," enriching students' education in the field of combating corruption and the development of a just economy.
