On October 15, 2024, Svitlana KOLOSOK, coordinator of the Jean Monnet international project “Smart energy cooperation in Europe: educational project for youth leaders” (101048079), joined the Jean Monnet Cluster Seminar as a participant. The event, titled “Teaching and promoting European Studies in Ukraine: best practices, challenges and prospects”, was organized by the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine within the framework of #ErasmusDays 2024.

The seminar aimed to strengthen interaction among Jean Monnet project teams, promote the exchange of experiences in implementing European Studies, and generate ideas for further collaboration with other Erasmus+ initiatives.

More than 120 project coordinators, academic staff, and participants from cities across Ukraine — including Kyiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Kropyvnytskyi, Chernihiv, Ternopil, Dnipro, Mykolaiv, Lviv, Poltava, Rivne, Odesa, Lutsk, and others — took part in the event.

During the seminar, participants gained valuable insights and developed practical skills related to the implementation of Jean Monnet projects under the EU Erasmus+ Programme. The sessions focused on understanding the specific features of such projects, planning their impact on the educational and research potential of higher education institutions, and analyzing how research outcomes in European Studies contribute to shaping public policy in Ukraine. Special attention was given to fostering synergy and effective cooperation among Jean Monnet projects and other Erasmus+ initiatives in the country.
