On June 22, 2026, the Oleg Balatsky Department of Management at Sumy State University held the defense of bachelor’s qualification projects presented by part-time students enrolled in the Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Management (Specialty 073 “Management”).
During the defenses, students from academic groups Mz-21s and Mz-22-3s presented the results of their research addressing current challenges in contemporary management. The projects covered a wide range of topics, including enterprise strategic development, improvement of personnel management systems, corporate culture development, innovation management, enterprise potential assessment and optimization, organizational management under unstable external conditions, as well as management practices in healthcare institutions and cultural organizations.
Particular attention was given to the practical orientation of the research. Most qualification projects were based on real enterprises and organizations operating in various sectors, including retail, healthcare, agriculture, education, culture, and services. The recommendations proposed by the students have practical relevance and can contribute to improving managerial practices in these organizations.
Throughout the defenses, the students demonstrated a high level of professional competence, the ability to analyze contemporary managerial challenges, justify strategic decisions, apply modern management concepts, and effectively present the outcomes of their research.
