April 20 for fourth-year students gr. SR-71 specialty 231. "Social work" in the study of the discipline "Strategic Management with a content module: Management of social work. Organization of systems of documentation of social work "(teacher - Ph.D., Assoc. Prof. Onishchenko M.L.). A meeting was held with Dmitrenko Inna Mykolayivna, Deputy Director of Sumy City Youth Leisure Center of Sumy City Council. The lecture was devoted to the main directions of the strategic development of Sumy.

Series of trainings for pupils of grades 9-11 of secondary school № 5, Sumy took place from 15 to 19 of April. On the example of the specialty "Public Administration" pupils learned to choose a future profession and plan their time.
During the conversation, the participants understood the importance of understanding their identity when they choosing a future profession. Pupils also got acquainted with time management-tools.
The participants of the trainings grew the Tree of Profession and thanks to Eisenhower's methods they learned to set priorities.
Representatives associate professor Valenkevich Larysa and postgraduate student Balagurovska Inna from the Oleg Balatskyi Department of Management helped them to acquire these skills.

On April 12, Ekaterine Lomia visited the fourth-year students of the specialty Public Management and Administration as part of the study of the discipline Management of European Integration Processes (teacher – Iuliia Myroshnychenko). Ms. Ekaterine is a researcher, a PhD Candidate in Political Science, visiting lecture at the Faculty of law and social sciences at European University (Tbilisi, Georgia). The sphere of scientific interests of the speaker is the research of foreign economic and European integration processes. The topic of the meeting was "Management of European Integration Processes (a case study of Georgia)". The event was conducted in English with consecutive translation into Ukrainian from the teacher of the course.
Ms Lomia has discussed Georgia’s success towards the EU and NATO aspiration as well as the challenges and difficulties towards the country’s EU integration. Ekaterine Lomia has provided the retrospective analysis of EU-Georgia relations since Georgia’s independence and the current situation in the country's occupied regions. In addition, the features and problems of public administration in Georgia were discussed during the practice-oriented event.
