On March 30, Andriy Avdeenko, a practicing specialist and commercial director of PJSC Sumyagroprombud, visited an online lecture for the 3rd year students of the Management educational program. The meeting was organized by Associate Professor of Oleg Balatskyi Department of Management, Olga Dreval. The lecture was devoted to practical issues of material required planning of enterprises.
Quite complex issues were discussed, among which were provocative ones: "Is ProZorro really transparent?", "Kickbacks in the process of supply of material resources. And how to fight them?"
Andriy Avdeenko shared his experience, told about interesting cases from his professional life, commented on an event that took place recently in the Suez Canal, when a giant container ship got stuck on the beach and all delivery deadlines were disrupted.

On the 24th of March Dr. Ali Faizan, Assistant Professor & Graduate Program Coordinator at School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee shared his experience in the topic “Publishing Papers: From Failures to Success”. This webinar brought new insights on what are the main mistakes in publishing papers, how to make solid research, and how to perform the outcomes of research in an academic manner to make it publishable. Dr Ali Faizan gave a lot of advice on how to choose the topic wisely, what real cases may become an inspiration for the research and how to present the findings in a paper to be noticed in the academic community.

The global virtual class "International Business and Leadership" continues. Thanks to the class, students can communicate with extraordinary individuals, millionaires and professionals in their field. So, on March 25, the session was joined by the Contributor of "Net Effects Podcast", "Net Effect Ventures" and Zen Nest retreat in South Utah, Devoted to ESG, CIO Les Ottolenghi.
Students learned about the role of technology in the globalization, saw how IT contributes to international cooperation and personal development. Les believes that technology will solve some of the world's greatest challenges and can help humanity rediscover its best instincts and behaviors. Students also learned how to start a hotel business most efficiently at the lowest cost.
On March 23-24, 2021 associate professor Denys Smolennikov joined the event "BUP Reunion" of the Baltic University Program. It took place online via Zoom and unite participants form previous educational projects of the program in 2017-2020.
Participants had the opportunity to meet online, chat in small groups, take part in a design thinking workshop, share ideas and successes of their change projects, which they implemented in their universities.
Denys Smolennikov was a participant in the internship program for teachers "Education for Sustainable Development", which took place in 2017-2018 at the University of Abo University (Turku, Finland) with two face-to-face seminars at Kaunas University of Technology (Kaunas, Lithuania) and Riga Technical University (Riga, Latvia).
