"Social work" was an interesting practice-oriented event in the discipline "Strategic Management with a content module: Management of social work. Organization of systems of documentation of social work "(teacher - Ph.D., Assoc. Prof. Onishchenko M.). A meeting was held with Yanchenko Serhiy Volodymyrovych, Chief Specialist of the Department for Youth and Sports, as part of the topic's study: "Peculiarities of social service management for youth."
The meeting took place in a question-answer format. Students received meaningful answers to questions, namely: on the management structure of the Department of Youth and Sports; additionally focused on the issues of quarantine restrictions, as this affected the activities of the structure as a whole; within the strategic direction, the questions concerning the Program "Youth of the city of Sumy for 2019-2021" became very interesting.

On the 16th of March Head of the department, Hanna Shvindina took part in the conference “Advancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Academic Business Research: East-West Dialog of Values” held at Webster University (St.-Louis, the US). The presentation was devoted to the topic “Equity challenges: research perspectives in Ukraine”. The seminar united many scholars from all around the world interested in the topic and ready to contribute to positive changes.

On this Wednesday, the 17th of March, the colleagues from Sumy State University, professor Oleksii Lyulyov, and associate professor Tetyana Pimonenko, both representatives of the Department of Management, shared their experience and expertise in the sphere of bibliometric analysis and data processing. This seminar involved more than 100 participants from all around the world and gave new opportunities to undergraduates, Ph.D. students, and faculties to find a clear algorithm for processing the bibliometric data.

Our colleague, Tetyana Mayboroda, Senior lecturer of Oleg Balatskyi Department of Management, completed the training from the University of California, Irvine, and was awarded a certificate in the course “Types of Conflicts”. This opportunity appeared thanks to the Coursera platform and “Coursera for Campus” program offered by Sumy State University. This course enables to implement a new experience and knowledge, in particular within the course “Conflict & Organizational Change Management” for students in Management.
By the way, this is the third completed course by Tetyana Mayboroda this year. We wish her further success!
