On October 8, 2020, the Department of Management hosted a practice-oriented event, a lecture on “The state of implementation of the Law of Ukraine “On Strategic Environmental Assessment” in Sumy region and problematic issues of integration of environmental requirements during the development and approval of state planning documents” and “Current state and state policy in the field of waste management”. The lecture was given by Iryna Volodymyrivna Kashpur, Acting Director of the Department of Environmental Protection and Energy of the Sumy Regional State Administration. Students of the group AM.m-01 (1st year of master’s degree, speciality «Administration») on October 2 attended an online lecture by the chief specialist of the Sumy Landscaping Inspection Department of the Sumy City Council - Kotlyarova Tatiana.
The event was organized by a senior lecturer of the Department of Management, Ph.D. of public administration Demikhov Oleksii.
The topic of the lecture was the organization of measures to control the activities of economic entities in the united territorial communities. The lecturer explained students about the basic principles of the inspection of landscaping, legal and regulatory framework. It was interesting to hear about practical cases – how inspectors monitor the order in the city! Employment opportunities for young people in the mayor’s office units were also discussed!
The questions voiced by the students were related to the topic «Control at the level of united territorial communities» within the work program of the discipline «State Control».

Sergey Manzhara (Head of the department for the implementation of measures of state architectural and construction control, Department of State Architectural and Construction Control of Sumy City Council) - the invited specialist for bachelor students of PU - 81 group (specialty "Public Management and Administration") and postgraduate students of the Department of Management.
Many exciting and practical issues were considered in the framework of the topic "Operational planning of operational processes in public administration".
In particular, issues of operational control were discussed. Examples in the field of state architectural and construction control were considered.
