During February 19-21 at the department there were defended graduate works of students of the educational program "Public Service". Graduates during the defense have shown professionalism in the public sphere, knowledge of legislation and regulations, ability to find problems in the field of public administration and ways to solve them. The results obtained had a clear practical orientation. All the works were commissioned by state and local governments.
The papers dealt with topical issues of providing administrative services, reforming the tax and budgetary sphere, etc.
The defense of diploma work is another step towards success in the professional field of our graduates.

Bachelor students of the specialty "Public Administration and Administration" and the specialty "Management" visited the Sumy City Council on 20th of February, 2020. The practice-oriented event was organized and conducted by the teachers of the Department of Management Lukianikhin V.A. and Demikhov O.I.
At the beginning, the students was delivered the speech by Mr. Pak S.Y., the Deputy Mayor - the Steering Committee of the Executive Committee, who explained the peculiarities of the work of local self-government institutions.
Further, the head of the department of organizational and personnel work Antonenko A.G. spoke with the youth about the legislative requirements for holding competitions for the replacement of vacant positions in local self-government. The legislation on preventing corruption was one of the parts of his presentation.

In continuation of the cooperation with professor Dipra Jha (University of Nebraska-Lincoln), he kindly joined our course on Strategic Management with the topic “Strategic Thinking”. The lecture was performed in English, and it went well for the student in Management studies. Our colleagues from Whitefield Business School joined the class, who supported the project on Advanced Learning.
