Yulia Opanasyuk, senior lecturer of the Department of Management, visited the "Second Forum of the Ukrainian Community in the Netherlands" on May 18. The meeting, dedicated to youth policy, brought together representatives of the Ukrainian community to discuss important aspects of integration and preservation of Ukrainian identity among young people.
The main topics of the forum were the state of youth policy, the process of integrating Ukrainian children into the educational space of the Netherlands, and strategies for preserving Ukrainian cultural heritage. In particular, the role of Ukrainian weekend schools, which play an important role in preserving language and culture, was discussed.
Forum participants also learned about the activity of Ukrainian youth movements in the Netherlands, most of which are being formed at the country's leading universities. Successful Ukrainian immigrants who are actively engaged in charitable activities and have their own charitable foundations also spoke.
This forum became an important platform for sharing experiences and establishing new connections among the Ukrainian community in the Netherlands, contributing to the strengthening of the Ukrainian community and the development of youth policy.
