In the dynamic world of project management, membership in the Project Management Institute (Project Management Institute) is a significant step towards professional excellence. Recently, two faculty members from O. Balatsky Department of Management, Associate Professor Alona Yevdokymova, the guarantor of the Master's Program in Project Management, and Associate Professor Tetyana Mayboroda, a member of the project working group, joined this global community of over 700,000 professionals.
Membership in PMI is an important step and added value in the development and implementation of the project Internationalisation of Curriculum for the Project Management study programme to launch in 2025-2026 academic year: “Internationalisation of Curriculum: Project Management as a Pilot Program (IoC:PMasPP), which is being implemented as part of the DAAD and Leibniz University of Hannover's training program Management of Internationalisation and German-Ukrainian Academic Cooperation, in which Tetyana Mayboroda is taking part in 2024 (3rd cohort).
Membership in PMI provides participants with the opportunity to interact with international experts and integrate the latest knowledge into their academic and teaching activities. Access to PMI’s vast array of resources, including guides, case studies, training materials, the PMBOK® Guide, templates, and other tools, will enable our faculty members to enrich and internationalize their curricula, equipping students with up-to-date and practical knowledge.
The membership also grants access to influential sources such as the Project Management Journal and PM Network, allowing members to stay informed about the latest trends and innovations in the field. This will facilitate the integration of cutting-edge research and best practices into teaching, ensuring that students are provided with tools for success in both local and global job markets.
We wholeheartedly congratulate the faculty members of the Master's Program in Project Management on joining this global network of project managers. We eagerly anticipate the positive impact this will have on their teaching activities and the future development of education in project management.
