2nd year students of the specialty "Public Management and Administration" within the study of the discipline "Administrative and Territorial Management" successfully completed courses on the platform "Prometheus".
On the topic "Administrative-territorial system" as an independent study, students took the course "Decentralization in Ukraine: theory and practice." The course discussed what decentralization is in Ukraine and why it is necessary, how decentralization took place in European countries, history of reforms of administrative-territorial system and formation of local self-government in Ukraine, cooperation of territorial communities, problems that arise during the reform, etc. Students learned what decentralization is, how the reform is going and what the prospects are for the future.
On the topic "Interaction of local governments with citizens and NGOs" students took a course "Effective interaction of local governments with the public." The public has the right to know, and the task of the responsible local government - be able to inform the public, attach it to change, enlist the support of the community, find partners and allies to implement positive change in Ukrainian society. Students got acquainted with the issues of interaction with the media and public relations, with the basic principles, methods, modern principles, standards, mechanisms and tools of interaction with the public.
As a result of the courses, students received certificates. They can use them when writing a CV.
