The R&D in topic "Optimization model of smart and secure energy grids building: innovative technologies of enterprises and regions ecologisation" (state registration number: 0119U100766) has three years of history and is performed under the supervision of Dr. Svitlana Kolosok at the laboratory of Oleg Balatskyi Department of Management.
By this time, one doctoral student (Kolosok S.), one Ph.D. student (Piven D.), eight undergraduates (Dekhtyarenko A., Grigorenko D., Vodotyka D., and Kucherenko P.) were involved in the R&D with work remuneration. As part of the research work, four students prepared their works for the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers. And one thesis was awarded a second-degree diploma in Ukraine (Petrenko N. with the topic: "Application of the project approach to energy-efficient technologies," 2021). Considering the scientific achievements, Kotyuk R., a student majoring in "Management," was awarded an academic scholarship from the President of Ukraine for the first semester of the 2020/2021 academic year.
Students-performers defended three master's theses on the R&D topic (Grigorenko D., 2020; Dekhtyarenko A., 2020; Petrenko N., 2021). Also, two dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy were defended (Vakulenko I. with the topic: "Organizational and economic principles of smart grid implementation in the energy sector of Ukraine," 2020; Ziabina E. with the topic: "Determinants of enhancing energy efficiency of the national economy," 2021).
During the R&D process, young scientists on received nine copyright certificates for scientific outcomes. The research results were published in the journals indexed in bibliographic databases Web of Science and Scopus. In particular, the publications are indexed in high-tier journals that are in the first and second quartiles (Vakulenko I.). The research results were also disseminated at scientific conferences. The R&D team led by Dr. Kolosok uses machine analysis methods to substantiate their conclusions on energy grid development.
