A career orientation meeting was held on 22.05.2026 with students of the 11th grade of Lebedyn Secondary Education Institution of I-III Degrees No. 1. The event was conducted by Vladyslav Maksymenko, a graduate student of the Oleg Balatsky Department of Management.
During the meeting, high school students had the opportunity to get to know the world of management in more depth and learn what role a manager plays in modern organizations. Together with a representative of the department, the students discussed what functions a manager performs, what personal qualities and professional skills are necessary for a successful career, in which areas management specialists can realize themselves and how to choose the right further educational path.
Separately, the opportunities for studying at the Oleg Balatsky Department of Management at SumDU were presented. Students learned about current educational programs, the advantages of student life, international opportunities, practical training and employment prospects after receiving higher education.
The meeting was held in the format of open communication. Eleventh-graders received advice on admission, studies, and professional development.
Such career guidance activities contribute to the formation of a conscious choice of future profession, help young people better assess their own interests and opportunities, and open up new prospects for further educational and career growth.
