The O. Balatsky Department of Management at Sumy State University, in collaboration with Whitefield Business School, held the third session of their COIL virtual course, “Modern Management Trends,” with the participation of Tetyana Bondar, Senior Lecturer at Sumy State University.
The lecture topic was:
“The Future of Supply Chain Management: From Efficiency to Sustainability.”
During the session, key transformations in modern supply chain management were highlighted in the context of global challenges. Special emphasis was placed on the shift from purely efficiency-driven models to sustainable approaches that integrate environmental and social responsibility.
The lecture covered:
- the role of sustainability in supply chain development,
- digitalization and automation of logistics processes,
- risk management under global uncertainty,
- corporate responsibility in building resilient supply networks.
Students actively participated in discussions and case analysis, demonstrating strong engagement with the topic.
