Kateryna Samoday, a postgraduate student of the Oleg Balatsky Department of Management, majoring in Management, was a participant in the joint Twinning program of Sumy State University and the University of Liverpool and had the opportunity to work on her scientific work for 3 months in Liverpool, Great Britain.
The main focus was on the analysis of modern trends in the field of strategic urban management in the perspective of post-war reconstruction and obtaining expert recommendations. Daily discussions, seminars and workshops helped to look at the topic from a new angle. An internship at the University of Liverpool is a great opportunity to expand your research horizons, gain access to the university’s academic resources and exchange experience with British scientists.
“It was an extremely productive period! I not only received valuable advice on my dissertation, but also worked in an environment where science is combined with practice. In addition to research, I had the opportunity to communicate with graduate students and teachers from different countries, which significantly broadened my vision and inspired me to move forward in this field, despite the difficulties. The experience gained will be an important contribution to my scientific work and will promote further international cooperation between Ukrainian and British researchers. Such visits are a truly valuable opportunity for the integration of Ukrainian scientists into the academic community and improving the quality of research among young scientists.”, – shares Kateryna’s impressions.
