Practical Aspects of Modern Management and Public Governance in an International Environment

The recent activities of the international project “Good Governance and Accountability in Public Administration” provided participants with an opportunity to gain practical experience and familiarize themselves with contemporary approaches to management, organizational practices, and cross-sectoral cooperation in the fields of healthcare, public utilities, and environmental management through visits to several leading institutions of the Republic of Moldova.

Among the visited institutions was the Emergency Medicine Institute, where participants were introduced to best practices in management and governance within the public health sector, the organizational and operational mechanisms of the emergency medical care system, as well as modern approaches to coordinating medical services under crisis conditions. Another key destination was S.A. TERMOELECTRICA, the principal producer of thermal and electrical energy in the Republic of Moldova, where participants explored the functioning and modernization of energy infrastructure, contemporary approaches to energy system management, and issues related to ensuring energy resilience and efficiency.

A separate component of the program included a visit to the “Plaiul Fagului” (Nature Reserve), where participants became acquainted with environmental protection practices, ecological management approaches, and biodiversity conservation strategies.

Such activities contribute to the expansion of international cooperation, the exchange of practical experience, and the development of an interdisciplinary understanding of contemporary management approaches in the fields of healthcare, public utilities, environmental protection, and social development.
