Since last year, Sumy State University and the University of Liverpool have been partners within the "Unity Initiative" program. The program involves cooperation in a wide range of areas, including summer schools and student exchanges, teacher training, an online educational resources platform, access to global databases.
This year, three teachers and a graduate student of the Department of Management - Tetyana Mayboroda , Karina Taraniuk, Anastasia Nesheva, Evgenia Lavryk took part in the Summer School of the University of Liverpool.
Тetyana Maуboroda, as a member of the Sumy State University delegation led by rector Vasyl KARPUSHA, visited the University of Liverpool (Great Britain). The purpose of the visit was to strengthen the partnership and determine directions for further cooperation in the educational and scientific spheres.
Olga Kramarenko, a graduate student of the department of management, visited the city of Liverpool and took part in the implementation of a joint project with the University of Liverpool. This is how our colleague describes his experience: «This project offers scientists of Sumy State University wide opportunities to familiarize themselves with the advanced experience of the implementation and operation of the best practices of the University of Liverpool, conducting research. In the direction of her research, she is involved in the Open Research Team of the University of Liverpool, thanks to which there is an opportunity to borrow the experience of implementing open research practices at the university - in the part of open research data, in parallel she is involved in the UKRN project - in the part of the analysis of indicators of open research practices in Great Britain.».
According to Kostyantyn KYRYCHENKО, a teacher at the department of management and coordinator of the sister university program from Sumy State University, the results of cooperation, which began in April 2022, have acquired powerful volumes and cover most of the subject areas of the universities' scientific and educational activities: "This is a unique form of international cooperation and we are happy to have such highly professional and reliable partners in Great Britain".
