On February 16, 2022, the team of the Jean Monnet international educational project “Smart energy cooperation in Europe: educational project for youth leaders” (101048079) took part in the kick-off meeting for the winners of the Jean Monnet action projects under the EU Erasmus+ Programme, organized by the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine.
The event focused on the organizational, financial, and administrative aspects of project implementation, as well as specific features of delivering Jean Monnet projects within Sumy State University. Participants received general recommendations for effective project management, compliance with visibility requirements, dissemination strategies, reporting, and inter-project cooperation.
Special attention during the meeting was given to the role of Sumy State University as one of the leading Ukrainian higher education institutions in terms of the number of Jean Monnet projects implemented. As of 2021, the university was implementing 19 such projects, including 10 winners of the 2021 call – the highest number among all Ukrainian HEIs.
It is worth noting that participation in such events is extremely important for a successful project launch and effective implementation. It allows project teams to familiarize themselves with the latest requirements of the Erasmus+ Programme, receive expert guidance, and establish communication with other project teams to foster future collaboration and synergy.
