On October 3, 2025, a practice-oriented meeting was held for students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Business, Economics, and Management (ENSIBEM) as part of the courses “Career and Time Management”, “Project and Process Management”, and “International Standards in Project Management”.
The invited speaker was Zhan Derkach, Director of the “Knyazha VIG” branch in Sumy.
During the meeting, the following topics were discussed:
- organizational features of insurance company offices;
- career path trajectories in the insurance sector;
- setting career goals and strategies for their achievement;
- projects as a tool for implementing key activities in the financial and insurance sector;
- the importance of communication psychology in the insurance field.
All students of Academic and Research Institute of Business, Economics and Management had the opportunity to gain valuable and practically useful information. For students of the Department of Management named after O. Balatsky, aspects of project management were particularly interesting, while students majoring in Marketing focused on issues related to cold sales. In addition, the speaker addressed financial risks and the economic feasibility of implementing insurance measures.
Students received not only theoretical knowledge but also practical tools for professional growth and successful career development.
