Practice-oriented session by the O. Balatsky Department of Management, SumDU: “Features of Formation and Development of Successful Brands”

October 10, 2025 – within the courses “Career and Time Management” and “Project and Process Management”, students of BIEM Institute met with invited speaker Olha Finkilshtein, co-founder and director of the Feel Fine brand.

During the meeting, the speaker shared her personal experience in building a brand that evokes emotions, builds trust, and inspires clients.

“An organization is a place where you can meet your needs by purchasing a product or service.

But a brand is the same – plus emotion, and it’s the emotion people are willing to pay more for,” – noted Ms. Olha.

She emphasized that to create a strong brand, it is essential to:

  • step into the client’s shoes and understand their real needs;
  • be sincere and consistent in communication;
  • build a team, not subordinates — because people make the brand brighter;
  • care about your “own” client by creating a service with soul.

The Feel Fine brand, which combines product manufacturing and infobusiness, demonstrates that success comes to those who love people, act fast, take responsibility, and genuinely strive to make clients’ lives better and more comfortable.

“Successful brands and people are those who do what they can’t help but do.
They have something to say, they experiment, respect others, and love what they do,” – summarized the speaker.

Participants of the session gained not only practical insights but also inspiration to develop their own projects and personal brands.

The event was joined by the department lecturers: Yuliia Matvieieva (within the courses “Career and Time Management” and “Project and Process Management”) and Anastasiia Niesheva (within the course “Theory of Management and Administration”).

Event organizer: Yuliia Matvieieva, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer of the O. Balatsky Department of Management.
